Heavy Diesel Mechanic

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a Diesel Mechanic (Mobile Plant)
• Experience working with Mobile Plant, Underground Equipment, Heavy Equipment, or Agricultural Equipment
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment brands such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, Hitachi, Sandvik, Epiroc, Atlas Copco, Kubota, John Deere, and similar equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagnostic reports
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and systems such as CAT ET, Volvo TechTool, Volvo Impact, ECM, and related applications
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and safety awareness
• Good English communication skills, both spoken and written
• Valid passport and readiness with visa-related documents including NBI clearance, employment records, school records, and police clearance

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, service, and repair diesel-powered mobile plant equipment
• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to minimize equipment breakdowns
• Inspect and repair engines, transmissions, hydraulics, brakes, and electrical systems
• Use mechanical and electronic diagnostic tools to troubleshoot equipment faults
• Replace or repair defective mechanical and electrical components
• Perform welding, fabrication, and equipment adjustments when necessary
• Maintain accurate service records, maintenance reports, and equipment logs
• Follow workplace safety regulations and environmental standards at all times
• Ensure equipment is operating efficiently and safely before deployment
