Changwon Corporation Sp. z o.o. is seeking an experienced Calibrator to perform calibration, testing, and verification of instrumentation and electrical devices for electrical construction projects in Poland. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring measuring instruments and control equipment operate accurately and comply with project specifications, industry standards, and quality requirements.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in calibration and instrumentation, with a proven background in Electrical Construction projects.
CALIBRATOR
Qualifications:
- Must have a VALID TRC.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the same position as a Calibrator.
- Proven experience in Electrical Construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation calibration, testing, and commissioning procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, loop diagrams, P&IDs, and electrical schematics.
- Experience using calibration tools, test equipment, and precision measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of quality assurance procedures and workplace safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform calibration of field instruments, transmitters, gauges, switches, control valves, and other instrumentation devices.
- Test, verify, and adjust instrumentation and electrical equipment to ensure accurate performance.
- Read and interpret calibration procedures, loop diagrams, P&IDs, electrical drawings, and technical specifications.
- Conduct pre-commissioning and commissioning support for instrumentation systems.
- Identify calibration discrepancies and perform corrective adjustments or recommend repairs.
- Maintain calibration records, certificates, test reports, and related documentation.
- Use calibration equipment and precision measuring instruments safely and accurately.
- Coordinate with instrument technicians, inspectors, engineers, and supervisors during testing and commissioning activities.
- Ensure all calibration activities comply with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable industry regulations.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
