Kobal Transporti d.o.o. is seeking experienced and safety-focused Truck Drivers to join its logistics and transportation team in Slovenia. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy-duty trucks, transporting goods safely and efficiently, and ensuring compliance with road safety regulations and company transport standards.
TRUCK DRIVER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Truck Driver.
- Must possess a valid CE Driving Licence.
- Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Physically fit and capable of handling long-haul transport operations.
- Responsible, reliable, and committed to safe driving practices.
- Familiarity with international transport regulations and vehicle safety procedures is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy-duty trucks for local and long-haul transportation of goods.
- Transport cargo safely and efficiently while adhering to delivery schedules.
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transport.
- Comply with traffic laws, transportation regulations, and company safety policies.
- Maintain accurate driving logs, delivery records, and other transport documentation.
- Monitor vehicle condition and promptly report mechanical issues or maintenance requirements.
- Coordinate with dispatchers and logistics personnel regarding delivery schedules and route updates.
- Practice defensive driving techniques and maintain a strong safety record.
- Perform other transport-related duties as assigned by the employer.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent heavy vehicle driving skills.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and transport compliance.
- Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic troubleshooting.
- Good navigation, route planning, and time management skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work independently while meeting delivery deadlines.
- High level of professionalism, responsibility, and attention to safety.
Work Environment:
- Long-haul and regional transportation operations throughout Slovenia and neighboring European countries.
- Extended driving hours with overnight or multi-day trips as required.
- Exposure to varying weather and road conditions.
- Strict adherence to transportation safety regulations and company operating procedures.
