CAS Recruitment Ltd – Greek Branch is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators (Bulldozer) for an overseas employment opportunity in Greece.

The successful candidate will operate bulldozers and other heavy earthmoving equipment for construction, mining, roadworks, excavation, grading, leveling, backfilling, and site preparation projects. The operator will be responsible for safe equipment operation, accurate earthmoving work, daily equipment inspections, and reporting mechanical issues.

HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR (Bulldozer)

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Bulldozer Operator or Heavy Equipment Operator, typically 2–5 years or more, depending on the role.
• Valid driver’s license; commercial driver’s license where required by local regulations.
• Certification or formal training in heavy equipment operation is an advantage.
• Knowledge of safe and efficient bulldozer operation.
• Experience in construction, mining, roadworks, earthmoving, or site development is preferred.
• Familiarity with grading, leveling, excavation, backfilling, and site preparation.
• Ability to read and understand site plans, grade stakes, and work instructions.
• Basic knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and daily servicing.
• Ability to identify and report mechanical problems promptly.
• Understanding of workplace safety regulations and safe operating procedures.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Good hand-eye coordination, depth perception, and spatial awareness.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or shifting schedules when required.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• English communication skills are a must.
• At least a High School graduate.
• Must have a newly renewed passport.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate bulldozers and heavy earthmoving equipment according to project requirements.
• Perform grading, leveling, excavation, backfilling, and site preparation activities.
• Move, push, spread, and level soil, rocks, aggregates, and other construction materials.
• Follow site plans, grade stakes, work instructions, and directions from supervisors.
• Maintain proper control and positioning of the bulldozer during operations.
• Inspect the work area before operating equipment and identify potential hazards.
• Conduct daily pre-operation and post-operation equipment inspections.
• Check fluid levels, tracks, blades, controls, attachments, and other major equipment components.
• Perform basic routine servicing and maintenance within the operator’s responsibilities.
• Identify unusual noises, leaks, mechanical problems, or equipment malfunctions.
• Report mechanical issues and maintenance requirements promptly to supervisors or mechanics.
• Maintain equipment in a clean and safe operating condition.
• Follow workplace safety regulations and approved heavy equipment operating procedures.
• Work safely around other heavy equipment, workers, vehicles, and construction activities.
• Assist with site preparation and earthmoving operations as required.
• Coordinate with construction crews, surveyors, supervisors, and other equipment operators.
• Work overtime, weekends, or shifting schedules when required.
• Perform other heavy equipment operating duties assigned by the supervisor.

Salary Package:

• Salary starts at € 1,000 gross monthly.
• Forty-two (40) working hours / Five (5) days a week.
• Accommodation will be provided.
• Contract duration is for 1 year.
