CAS Recruitment UK Limited is seeking qualified and experienced Maintenance Technicians for an overseas employment opportunity in the United Kingdom.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving industrial processing, manufacturing, recycling, and heavy plant equipment. The role involves planned preventative maintenance, breakdown response, equipment inspection, mechanical and hydraulic repairs, basic electrical troubleshooting, and supporting engineering improvement projects.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience maintaining industrial processing, manufacturing, recycling, or heavy plant equipment.
  • Must be a graduate with any Bachelor’s degree.
  • Must possess a valid Philippine Driver’s License – Code B.
  • Must have UKVI IELTS with a minimum score of 5.5 in each category, as specified for the position.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Must have a newly renewed passport.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
  • Ability to diagnose equipment faults and perform appropriate repairs.
  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions and maintenance procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with production and engineering teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) according to established maintenance schedules.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical faults on industrial plant equipment.
  • Respond promptly to machinery breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
  • Maintain and repair conveyors, shredders, balers, screens, sorting equipment, motors, gearboxes, pumps, bearings, and associated production machinery.
  • Conduct routine inspections of plant equipment and identify potential defects before equipment failure occurs.
  • Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery.
  • Install, commission, modify, and test new equipment and machinery when required.
  • Support engineering projects designed to improve plant performance, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Complete maintenance records, work orders, inspection reports, and other technical documentation accurately.
  • Use company maintenance management systems to record maintenance activities.
  • Ensure spare parts are used efficiently and report parts and stock requirements when necessary.
  • Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping in engineering workshops, plant areas, and maintenance workspaces.
  • Follow all Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality Management procedures.
  • Comply with safe systems of work, permit-to-work procedures, risk assessments, and site safety requirements.
  • Participate in emergency call-outs and shift rota arrangements when required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, plant efficiency, and overall operational performance.
  • Perform other maintenance and engineering duties assigned by the supervisor.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary starts at £ 3,224.00 gross monthly
  • Forty-two (40) working hours / Five (5) days a week.
  • Accommodation will be provided.
  • Contract duration is for 3 years renewable
