CAS Recruitment UK Limited is seeking qualified and experienced HGV Vehicle Detailers for an overseas employment opportunity in the United Kingdom.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, painting, refinishing, repairing, polishing, and detailing HGVs, commercial vehicles, and fleet vehicles. The role requires strong knowledge of vehicle paint preparation, surface finishing, cosmetic repairs, and professional fleet presentation.

HGV VEHICLE DETAILER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in vehicle spray painting, refinishing, or detailing.
• At least 3 years of experience working with HGV/commercial vehicle components for painting, including sanding, masking, and surface preparation.
• Knowledge of vehicle paint preparation techniques and finishing processes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to perform professional spray painting and refinishing work.
• Ability to perform minor cosmetic repairs to vehicle bodywork.
• Good knowledge of polishing, buffing, and vehicle finishing techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Graduate of any four-year course.
• Valid Philippine Driver’s License – Code B.
• Must have UKVI IELTS with a minimum score of 5.5 in each category, as specified in the job requirements.
• Good English communication skills.
• Must have a newly renewed passport.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare HGV and commercial vehicle components for painting and refinishing.
• Perform sanding, masking, cleaning, and surface preparation before painting.
• Carry out professional spray painting and vehicle refinishing to a high standard.
• Apply paint and finishing materials according to required specifications and procedures.
• Perform minor cosmetic repairs to vehicle bodywork when required.
• Polish and buff painted surfaces to achieve a smooth and professional finish.
• Detail vehicle exteriors and ensure vehicles meet required presentation standards.
• Inspect vehicles for scratches, dents, paint defects, surface imperfections, and other cosmetic issues.
• Identify areas requiring repair, repainting, polishing, or additional finishing.
• Maintain company standards for fleet presentation and vehicle branding.
• Assist with colour matching and paint mixing when required.
• Ensure painting equipment, tools, and work areas are clean, organized, and safe.
• Handle paints, solvents, and other hazardous materials according to safety procedures.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during painting and detailing activities.
• Follow workplace health and safety requirements and safe working practices.
• Maintain quality standards throughout the painting and refinishing process.
• Work independently and collaboratively with other workshop and bodyshop personnel.
• Perform other vehicle detailing, painting, and cosmetic repair duties as assigned.

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary starts at £ 3,220.44 gross monthly
• Forty-two (40) working hours/ Five (5) days a week.
• Accommodation will be provided.
• Contract duration is for 3 years renewable
