TECHNICIAN (HVAC)
Qualifications:
- Vocational Diploma, Short Course Certificate, or Diploma in HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant working experience in HVAC maintenance.
- Proven experience maintaining HVAC systems, including AHU, FAHU, FCU, DX units, chillers, and other commercial HVAC equipment.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Ability to diagnose faults and perform emergency repairs efficiently.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures and safety regulations.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Physically fit and capable of working in various site conditions.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC equipment, including Air Handling Units (AHU), Fresh Air Handling Units (FAHU), Fan Coil Units (FCU), DX units, chillers, and related systems.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems and carry out effective repairs.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and restore equipment to operational condition.
- Inspect, test, and maintain HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Monitor system performance and identify potential issues before equipment failure occurs.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company procedures, manufacturer specifications, and Occupational Health and Safety standards.
- Maintain accurate service records, maintenance reports, and documentation.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance personnel to complete assigned work efficiently.
- Observe safe working practices and maintain a clean and organized work area.
