TECHNICIAN (HVAC)

Qualifications:

• Vocational Diploma, Short Course Certificate, or Diploma in HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant working experience in HVAC maintenance.
• Proven experience maintaining HVAC systems, including AHU, FAHU, FCU, DX units, chillers, and other commercial HVAC equipment.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Ability to diagnose faults and perform emergency repairs efficiently.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures and safety regulations.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Physically fit and capable of working in various site conditions.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC equipment, including Air Handling Units (AHU), Fresh Air Handling Units (FAHU), Fan Coil Units (FCU), DX units, chillers, and related systems.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems and carry out effective repairs.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and restore equipment to operational condition.
• Inspect, test, and maintain HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
• Monitor system performance and identify potential issues before equipment failure occurs.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company procedures, manufacturer specifications, and Occupational Health and Safety standards.
• Maintain accurate service records, maintenance reports, and documentation.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance personnel to complete assigned work efficiently.
• Observe safe working practices and maintain a clean and organized work area.
