ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience as an Electrical Engineer in refinery and industrial companies.
- Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related technical field.
- Good command of the English language, both spoken and written.
- Must possess a Training Certificate from a recognized institution or TESDA.
- Must have Experience Certificates from industrial companies.
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, power systems, lighting, and industrial electrical installations.
- Experience in electrical load calculations, material selection, and project cost estimation.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and electrical schematics.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple project priorities.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and review electrical systems, equipment, and installation plans for industrial projects.
- Supervise the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
- Prepare and review electrical drawings, technical specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Perform detailed electrical load calculations and cost estimates to determine material and equipment requirements.
- Ensure electrical designs and installations comply with applicable codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Conduct inspections, troubleshoot electrical issues, and recommend engineering solutions.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other disciplines to ensure timely project completion.
- Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed within budget and schedule.
- Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
- Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with company health, safety, and environmental policies.
