SUPERVISOR-PRODUCTION
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role.
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s / College Degree or equivalent qualification.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Proven experience in the workshop manufacturing of pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, and piping systems.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication, welding, production planning, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication plans, and technical specifications.
- Good leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and sound technical knowledge.
- Familiarity with quality control standards, workplace safety regulations, and manufacturing best practices.
- Ability to work under pressure while managing production schedules and meeting project deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily workshop production activities to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Coordinate the fabrication and assembly of pressure vessels, storage tanks, heat exchangers, and piping systems.
- Assign work to production personnel and monitor productivity to meet production targets.
- Review fabrication drawings, work orders, and production schedules before work begins.
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with engineering specifications, quality standards, and company procedures.
- Monitor welding, fabrication, fitting, assembly, and inspection activities throughout production.
- Coordinate with engineering, quality control, procurement, and maintenance teams to support production requirements.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure proper workmanship and compliance with safety regulations.
- Prepare daily production reports, manpower reports, and progress updates.
- Identify production issues and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate production personnel while promoting a safe and productive work environment.
