KBR Services LLC is seeking an experienced Structural Fabricator to support fabrication and maintenance activities in oil and gas or heavy industrial plant environments in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and fitting structural steel components based on engineering drawings and project specifications while ensuring high-quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards.

STRUCTURAL FABRICATOR

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience as a Structural Fabricator.
• Must have experience working in an Oil & Gas or Heavy Industrial Plant.
• No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, fabrication plans, and engineering specifications.
• Skilled in measuring, cutting, shaping, fitting, and assembling structural steel components.
• Experience using fabrication equipment such as saws, shears, grinders, and other metalworking tools.
• Knowledge of tack welding, bolting, and structural fabrication techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Review technical drawings, blueprints, and fabrication specifications to determine materials, dimensions, and work sequences.
• Measure, mark, cut, bevel, and shape heavy metal plates, beams, channels, and structural steel using saws, shears, grinders, and other fabrication equipment.
• Fabricate and assemble structural steel components according to approved engineering drawings and project requirements.
• Align, fit, and join fabricated metal parts using tack welding, bolting, and other approved fabrication methods.
• Verify dimensions and ensure fabricated components meet required tolerances and quality standards.
• Operate fabrication tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform fit-up activities before final welding and coordinate with welders during assembly.
• Inspect fabricated assemblies for accuracy and report any defects or discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following company health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures.
• Assist with installation and modification of structural components when required.
