Qualifications:

• Fabricate and install natural stone, granite, marble, and porcelain surfaces according to project requirements.
• Measure work areas accurately and prepare dimensions for cutting and fabrication.
• Cut, shape, drill, grind, and polish stone materials using appropriate tools and machinery.
• Fabricate and install kitchen benchtops, bathroom vanity tops, splashbacks, countertops, and other stone surfaces.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, templates, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and installation.
• Perform detailed edge finishing and profiling to achieve the required shape, appearance, and specifications.
• Prepare stone surfaces for joining, sealing, mounting, and installation.
• Ensure joints, seams, edges, cut-outs, and finished surfaces meet required quality standards.
• Install stone products accurately and securely while ensuring proper alignment, level, fit, and finish.
• Handle stone materials carefully to prevent damage, cracking, chipping, or breakage during fabrication and installation.
• Inspect completed work for accuracy, quality, appearance, and structural integrity.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, builders, and other trades to ensure smooth project completion.
• Identify and resolve measurement, fabrication, fitting, or installation issues on-site.
• Maintain tools, machinery, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organised condition.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Complete fabrication and installation work according to project schedules and required deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience working with natural stone, granite, marble, or porcelain in fabrication and installation.
• Skilled in measuring, cutting, shaping, polishing, and installing stone products, including benchtops, splashbacks, and vanity tops.
• Able to accurately read and interpret technical drawings, templates, measurements, and specifications for fabrication and edge finishing.
• Knowledge of stone fabrication, cutting techniques, polishing, edge profiling, joining, sealing, and installation procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
• Able to work safely with stone-cutting tools, machinery, equipment, and materials.
• Physically fit and capable of handling and installing heavy stone materials.
• Confident in English communication and able to coordinate effectively with supervisors, engineers, builders, and other trades.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced construction or fabrication environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and resolve fabrication or installation issues.
