Committee Australia is seeking skilled Stone Benchtop Installers to join its team in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for measuring, fabricating, installing, repairing, and maintaining stone surfaces, including kitchen benchtops, backsplashes, vanities, and other stone fixtures while ensuring high-quality workmanship and precision.

STONE BENCHTOP INSTALLER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in stone fabrication and installation.
• Proven experience installing stone kitchen benchtops, backsplashes, vanities, and other stone fixtures.
• Skilled in precise measuring, cutting, polishing, and mitering of stone materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and installation plans.
• Experience in repairing and maintaining existing stone installations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team-oriented environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on installation work.
• Commitment to safe work practices and professional standards.

Responsibilities:

• Install stone kitchen benchtops, backsplashes, vanities, and other stone fixtures.
• Measure, cut, polish, and miter stone materials according to project requirements.
• Read and interpret drawings, plans, and installation specifications.
• Perform accurate measurements and ensure proper fitting of stone components.
• Carry out repairs and maintenance of existing stone installations.
• Prepare and handle stone materials safely during fabrication and installation.
• Ensure all installations meet quality standards and customer expectations.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
• Work independently and collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
