We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Steward to support daily restaurant operations by maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in the kitchen and dining service areas. The successful candidate will ensure proper hygiene standards are followed and assist the kitchen team in maintaining an efficient and safe working environment.

STEWARD

Qualifications:

• Male/Female applicants are preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a restaurant, hotel, kitchen, or food service environment.
• Previous experience as a Steward, Kitchen Helper, or similar role is preferred.
• Experience in bakery, baking, or pastry environments is an advantage.
• Knowledge of kitchen sanitation procedures and proper handling of cleaning equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Pleasant personality with good teamwork and communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to perform cleaning and support tasks for extended periods.
• Willing to work flexible hours, shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, pots, pans, and other food service items.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of kitchen areas, storage areas, and workstations.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic preparation and support tasks when required.
• Ensure proper disposal of waste and maintain hygiene standards according to food safety regulations.
• Operate dishwashing equipment and cleaning tools safely and efficiently.
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing kitchen supplies and equipment.
• Keep floors, sinks, counters, and service areas clean and safe.
• Follow workplace health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Support chefs and kitchen staff during busy service periods.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Kitchen Supervisor or management.
