HVAC TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as an HVAC Technician.
• Candidates must possess a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in a related field.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Strong knowledge of troubleshooting and repairing HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Hands-on experience with heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems, including HVAC fittings and components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
• Good understanding of electrical and mechanical systems related to HVAC equipment.
• Good communication skills and sound technical knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Physically fit and willing to work in accordance with company policies and workplace safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose faults in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment using appropriate tools and testing devices.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC units, chillers, split-type systems, package units, and refrigeration equipment.
• Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, motors, thermostats, condensers, evaporators, fans, valves, and electrical controls.
• Install and service HVAC fittings, ductwork, piping, and related mechanical components.
• Test system performance and ensure equipment operates efficiently after repairs or maintenance.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.
• Maintain maintenance records, service reports, and equipment inspection documentation.
• Follow company safety procedures and industry regulations while performing all maintenance activities.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and in safe working condition.
