Yamama Cement Factory is seeking an experienced and technically skilled Senior Engine Technician – Electrical to support electrical maintenance activities involving crushers, workshops, housing facilities, and associated equipment in Saudi Arabia. This opportunity is ideal for experienced electrical technicians with strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, engine-related electrical components, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and facility electrical services.
SENIOR ENGINE TECHNICIAN – ELECTRICAL (CRUSHERS, WORKSHOPS, AND HOUSING)
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Senior Electrical Technician, Engine Electrical Technician, Industrial Electrician, or similar position.
- Strong experience in electrical maintenance of crushers, workshop machinery, engines, generators, and building or housing facilities.
- Good knowledge of electric motors, control panels, starters, generators, alternators, batteries, wiring systems, sensors, and electrical distribution equipment.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting, testing, repair, and preventive maintenance skills.
- Ability to diagnose electrical problems in both industrial machinery and facility systems.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.
- Experience providing technical guidance to electricians, technicians, or maintenance personnel.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and safe working practices.
- Physically fit and capable of working in a demanding cement plant, workshop, crusher, and facility environment.
- Responsible, detail-oriented, technically capable, and able to work effectively with mechanical, electrical, and maintenance teams.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and oversee electrical inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance activities for crushers, workshops, housing facilities, and associated equipment.
- Inspect and maintain electrical systems, motors, control panels, starters, generators, wiring, lighting systems, and other electrical components.
- Diagnose electrical faults in crusher equipment, workshop machinery, engines, generators, and facility systems.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance according to established schedules, technical specifications, and manufacturer recommendations.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits, motor controls, sensors, relays, contactors, switches, and distribution equipment.
- Inspect engine electrical systems, including starting, charging, battery, alternator, and control systems, and perform necessary repairs.
- Perform electrical testing and measurements using appropriate diagnostic tools and test instruments.
- Assist with installation, wiring, replacement, modification, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.
- Monitor the electrical condition and performance of crushers, workshop machinery, generators, and housing electrical facilities.
- Coordinate with mechanical technicians, operators, engineers, supervisors, and other maintenance personnel to resolve equipment-related electrical problems.
- Provide technical guidance and support to electricians and junior technicians during complex troubleshooting and repair activities.
- Assist with planned shutdowns, equipment overhauls, inspections, testing, and electrical maintenance projects.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and technical drawings.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, electrical faults, repairs, testing results, maintenance activities, and spare parts used.
- Ensure electrical tools, testing instruments, and maintenance equipment are properly maintained and safely operated.
- Follow lockout/tagout procedures, permit-to-work requirements, electrical safety standards, and company policies.
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain good housekeeping in workshops, crusher areas, housing facilities, and electrical work areas.
- Perform other electrical maintenance, engine electrical, and technical duties assigned by management.
