AUTO ELECTRICIAN

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as an Auto Electrician.
  • Candidates must possess a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in a related field.
  • Male applicants are preferred for this role.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting automotive electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
  • Proficient in the use of automotive diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
  • Experience in automotive air conditioning (A/C) repair and servicing.
  • Strong technical knowledge of vehicle electrical and electronic systems.
  • Good communication skills and sound working knowledge of automotive repair procedures.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining quality workmanship and workplace safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic faults in vehicles using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Install, repair, and maintain vehicle electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, charging, ignition, and starting systems.
  • Inspect and repair batteries, alternators, starters, sensors, control modules, and other electrical components.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs on automotive air conditioning (A/C) systems.
  • Conduct electrical system testing to identify faults and ensure proper vehicle operation.
  • Replace defective electrical components and perform preventive maintenance as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance work performed.
  • Follow manufacturer specifications, company procedures, and workplace safety standards.
  • Keep tools, diagnostic equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and in good working condition.
