AUTO ELECTRICIAN
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as an Auto Electrician.
- Candidates must possess a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in a related field.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting automotive electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
- Proficient in the use of automotive diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
- Experience in automotive air conditioning (A/C) repair and servicing.
- Strong technical knowledge of vehicle electrical and electronic systems.
- Good communication skills and sound working knowledge of automotive repair procedures.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining quality workmanship and workplace safety.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic faults in vehicles using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
- Install, repair, and maintain vehicle electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, charging, ignition, and starting systems.
- Inspect and repair batteries, alternators, starters, sensors, control modules, and other electrical components.
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs on automotive air conditioning (A/C) systems.
- Conduct electrical system testing to identify faults and ensure proper vehicle operation.
- Replace defective electrical components and perform preventive maintenance as required.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance work performed.
- Follow manufacturer specifications, company procedures, and workplace safety standards.
- Keep tools, diagnostic equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and in good working condition.
