We are seeking skilled and experienced Riggers to join Zamil Shipyards in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidates will be responsible for safely lifting, moving, and securing heavy materials, equipment, and ship components using rigging tools and lifting equipment in a shipyard environment.

Rigger

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a Rigger in shipyard, construction, offshore, or heavy industrial environment
• Knowledge of rigging techniques, lifting procedures, and load calculations
• Ability to operate rigging equipment such as slings, shackles, chains, hoists, and cranes (as assigned)
• Familiarity with hand signals and communication during lifting operations
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and lifting regulations
• Physically fit and capable of handling heavy loads in industrial conditions
• Ability to read and understand basic lifting plans or instructions
• Good teamwork, discipline, and situational awareness
• Willing to work in shifting schedules and demanding environments

Responsibilities:

• Perform safe rigging, lifting, and moving of heavy materials and ship components
• Attach loads using appropriate slings, chains, ropes, and lifting devices
• Assist crane operators by providing proper hand signals and instructions
• Inspect rigging equipment before use to ensure safety and reliability
• Ensure loads are properly balanced and secured before lifting operations
• Assist in loading and unloading materials within the shipyard
• Follow lifting plans, safety procedures, and shipyard regulations
• Maintain rigging tools and equipment in safe working condition
• Coordinate with welders, fitters, and other trades during lifting activities
• Report any unsafe conditions or equipment defects to supervisors immediately

• Graduate of any four (4) year course or College Level
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
