Enertech Qatar Safety Training Centre is seeking an experienced HSE Instructor with First Aid training experience or a medical background to deliver effective health, safety, and emergency response training. The ideal candidate should have relevant industry experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage trainees in a professional, practical, and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in HSE, safety training, First Aid instruction, healthcare, or a related field.
• First Aid training experience or a medical background is highly relevant to the position.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain safety procedures and first aid concepts clearly and effectively.
• Confident presentation and instructional skills.
• Ability to conduct both classroom-based and practical training sessions.
• Team-oriented and adaptable mindset.
• Ability to work effectively with trainees from different backgrounds and professional levels.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Professional, patient, approachable, and confident when dealing with trainees.
• Ability to assess trainee performance and provide appropriate feedback.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety principles and emergency response procedures.
• Relevant certifications for HSE positions are required or strongly preferred.
• Relevant First Aid, CPR, medical, HSE, or safety training certifications are an advantage.
• Willingness to follow company training standards, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct HSE training sessions for employees, workers, and other trainees.
• Deliver First Aid and emergency response training using appropriate instructional methods.
• Provide practical demonstrations and hands-on exercises related to first aid and workplace safety.
• Teach trainees how to respond appropriately to workplace injuries, medical emergencies, and other safety incidents.
• Explain basic first aid procedures, emergency response protocols, and injury prevention measures.
• Prepare training materials, presentations, demonstrations, and practical exercises.
• Ensure training content is accurate, clear, practical, and appropriate for the target audience.
• Assess trainees’ understanding through practical exercises, discussions, quizzes, and other appropriate evaluation methods.
• Monitor trainee performance and provide constructive feedback and guidance.
• Maintain accurate attendance, assessment, training, and certification records.
• Promote workplace health, safety, and emergency preparedness throughout all training sessions.
• Incorporate real-life workplace scenarios and practical examples into training activities where appropriate.
• Ensure training equipment, first aid kits, mannequins, demonstration materials, and other instructional resources are properly prepared and maintained.
• Follow applicable HSE requirements, training procedures, and organizational standards.
• Communicate effectively with trainees from different backgrounds and levels of experience.
• Coordinate with management and other instructors regarding training schedules, course requirements, and trainee needs.
• Maintain a professional, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
• Stay updated on relevant HSE practices, first aid procedures, emergency response techniques, and training requirements.
• Adapt teaching methods to different learning needs and workplace environments.
• Perform other HSE training and instructional duties assigned by management.
