REINFORCING BAR CONSTRUCTION WORKER (TITP)

Qualifications:

• At least a High School graduate.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in reinforcing bar installation, steel fixing, or construction work.
• Must have a Certificate of Employment (COE) documenting relevant work experience (issued not later than 2021 as required by the employer).
• Physically and mentally fit to work abroad.
• Medically fit for overseas employment.
• Basic knowledge of reinforcing bar fabrication and installation is preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding construction work in various weather conditions.
• Good teamwork, discipline, and willingness to learn Japanese work practices.

Responsibilities:

• Cut, bend, and shape reinforcing steel bars (rebar) according to construction drawings and project specifications.
• Assemble and install reinforcing bars for concrete structures such as buildings, bridges, foundations, columns, beams, and slabs.
• Tie reinforcing bars securely using wire, clips, and appropriate hand tools.
• Position and secure reinforcement before concrete pouring to ensure structural stability.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, reinforcement layouts, and work instructions.
• Operate rebar cutting, bending, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect reinforcement work to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
• Follow workplace safety regulations and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers, and construction team members to meet project deadlines.
• Comply with Japanese construction standards, company policies, and quality requirements.
• Perform other construction-related duties assigned by management.
