All Industries Mechanical Pty Ltd is seeking skilled and experienced Refrigerator and Airconditioning Mechanics to join its team in Australia. The successful applicants will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining truck air-conditioning and transport refrigeration systems, with knowledge of preventive maintenance and relevant refrigeration equipment.

Refrigerator and Airconditioning Mechanic

Qualifications:

• Male and Female applicants are welcome.
• Maximum age: 42 years old.
• High School Graduate or Vocational Graduate.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience as a Refrigerator and Airconditioning Mechanic, Refrigeration Technician, Automotive
• Airconditioning Technician, or similar role.
• Skilled in truck air-conditioning diagnosis and repair.
• Proven experience in transport refrigeration unit service and maintenance.
• Knowledge and practical experience in preventive maintenance services (PMS).
• Familiarity with diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration system problems.
• Knowledge of refrigeration and air-conditioning components, systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Experience with Thermo King and Carrier systems is an advantage.
• Must possess relevant certifications in refrigeration, air-conditioning, automotive, or a related technical field.
• Able to read and follow technical manuals, service procedures, and equipment specifications.
• Good troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Physically capable of performing mechanical and refrigeration maintenance tasks.
• Able to work independently and as part of a technical team.
• Responsible, reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious.
• Willing to follow company procedures, safety requirements, and technical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain truck air-conditioning systems.
• Inspect vehicle air-conditioning components to identify faults, leaks, wear, and performance issues.
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on compressors, condensers, evaporators, fans, belts, hoses, electrical components, and related systems.
• Service and maintain transport refrigeration units to ensure reliable temperature control.
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance services (PMS) according to manufacturer and company requirements.
• Test refrigeration and air-conditioning systems after servicing or repair to verify proper operation.
• Use appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration system faults.
• Check refrigerant levels, pressures, temperatures, and system performance.
• Identify refrigerant leaks and carry out appropriate repair procedures.
• Perform component replacement, adjustment, cleaning, and system servicing as required.
• Maintain and repair transport refrigeration equipment used for temperature-controlled vehicles.
• Work with Thermo King and Carrier refrigeration systems when required.
• Follow technical manuals, service procedures, equipment specifications, and manufacturer recommendations.
• Ensure all repair and maintenance work is completed accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain proper records of inspections, repairs, preventive maintenance, and replaced components.
• Report major equipment faults, recurring problems, and repair requirements to supervisors.
• Ensure tools, diagnostic equipment, and workshop equipment are properly maintained and stored.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures when handling refrigeration systems, tools, electrical components, and equipment.
• Properly handle refrigerants and other materials in accordance with applicable safety and environmental requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Coordinate with other mechanics, technicians, supervisors, and workshop personnel to complete assigned work.
• Perform other refrigeration, air-conditioning, mechanical, and maintenance duties as assigned.
