REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of refrigeration systems.
  • Preferably experienced with Thermo King and Carrier refrigeration units.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work independently.
  • Team player with a proactive and results-driven attitude.
  • Must hold a Technical Diploma or Certification in Automotive Mechanics, Refrigeration Technology, Electro-mechanics, or related field.
  • Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledgeable in preventive maintenance and refrigeration safety procedures.
  • Physically fit and capable of handling technical maintenance work.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of refrigeration and cooling systems.
  • Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related faults using appropriate diagnostic tools.
  • Service Thermo King, Carrier, and similar refrigeration units efficiently.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and scheduled servicing activities.
  • Repair or replace defective refrigeration components, wiring, compressors, and cooling parts.
  • Ensure refrigeration systems operate safely and efficiently according to company standards.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance reports and technical documentation.
  • Follow workplace safety procedures and refrigeration handling standards at all times.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and technical teams to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of tools, equipment, and work areas.
