REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of refrigeration systems.
- Preferably experienced with Thermo King and Carrier refrigeration units.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work independently.
- Team player with a proactive and results-driven attitude.
- Must hold a Technical Diploma or Certification in Automotive Mechanics, Refrigeration Technology, Electro-mechanics, or related field.
- Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledgeable in preventive maintenance and refrigeration safety procedures.
- Physically fit and capable of handling technical maintenance work.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of refrigeration and cooling systems.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related faults using appropriate diagnostic tools.
- Service Thermo King, Carrier, and similar refrigeration units efficiently.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and scheduled servicing activities.
- Repair or replace defective refrigeration components, wiring, compressors, and cooling parts.
- Ensure refrigeration systems operate safely and efficiently according to company standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance reports and technical documentation.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and refrigeration handling standards at all times.
- Coordinate with supervisors and technical teams to minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of tools, equipment, and work areas.
