Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. (HDEC) is seeking an experienced QC RTR Inspector for an overseas employment opportunity in Saudi Arabia. The position involves quality control inspection and testing of industrial project materials, equipment, systems, facilities, and piping during construction and pre-commissioning activities.
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in quality control inspection and testing, particularly in industrial, oil and gas, or petrochemical projects. Aramco experience is preferred, and applicants must possess a valid Future Pipe Industries (FPI) Certificate.
QC RTR Inspector
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, University Degree, or Diploma.
- High school diploma holders must have at least 6 years of direct work experience in the specific engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of direct experience performing QC inspection and testing related to the project scope of work.
- Experience in industrial, oil and gas, petrochemical, or similar projects.
- Direct experience inspecting and testing industrial project materials, equipment, systems, and facilities during construction and pre-commissioning.
- Thorough knowledge of recognized engineering codes and standards.
- Knowledge of applicable standards including ASTM, API, IEC, NEMA, UL, FM, NFPA, and ASME BPVC, or equivalent recognized standards.
- Strong knowledge of piping requirements applicable to industrial projects.
- Valid Future Pipe Industries (FPI) Certificate is required.
- Aramco experience is preferred.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, inspection requirements, and quality documents.
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a demanding industrial construction environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality control inspections of industrial project materials, equipment, systems, facilities, and piping.
- Perform inspection and testing activities during construction and pre-commissioning.
- Inspect RTR piping and related materials for compliance with approved specifications and project requirements.
- Review technical drawings, specifications, inspection procedures, and quality documentation.
- Verify that materials and installation work meet applicable engineering codes and standards.
- Identify defective or non-conforming materials and workmanship.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, checklists, and quality records.
- Monitor corrective and preventive actions and verify proper resolution of quality issues.
- Coordinate inspection activities with construction, engineering, commissioning, and other project teams.
- Ensure piping work complies with applicable international engineering standards.
- Support testing and pre-commissioning activities as required.
- Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and documentation throughout the project.
- Follow approved safety procedures and site requirements.
- Perform other quality control duties related to the assigned project.
