QA/QC Welder Inspector

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4–6 years of relevant experience in QA/QC welding inspection or related fields.
• Experience in routine maintenance and repair work within petrochemical plants, fertilizer plants, refineries, chemical plants, and Oil & Gas facilities.
• Strong knowledge of welding inspection methods, welding processes, and quality control procedures.
• Familiarity with welding codes, standards, specifications, and inspection requirements.
• Ability to interpret welding drawings, technical documents, and fabrication specifications.
• Experience in preparing inspection reports and quality documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform inspection of welding activities, materials, and completed welds to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Review welding procedures, drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements.
• Conduct visual inspections and monitor welding processes to ensure proper execution.
• Verify welder qualifications, welding parameters, and compliance with approved procedures.
• Identify welding defects and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare inspection reports, quality records, and documentation.
• Coordinate with welding teams, supervisors, and QA/QC personnel to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure all inspection activities comply with company procedures, safety requirements, and industry standards.
• Support quality control activities during maintenance, repair, and fabrication works.
