Barona Teollisuus Oy is seeking qualified and experienced Production Workers – Mold Preparation for an overseas manufacturing opportunity in Finland. The successful candidate will prepare production molds by manually applying wax, ensuring clean and properly treated surfaces that meet production and quality requirements.
PRODUCTION WORKER (Mold Preparation)
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of previous experience in the plastics manufacturing industry.
- Careful, accurate, and detail-oriented approach to work.
- Good manual dexterity and ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining consistent quality.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to follow work instructions, production procedures, and quality requirements.
- Good visual attention and ability to identify surface imperfections.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a production team.
- Physically fit and capable of performing repetitive manual work.
- Reliable, disciplined, and safety-conscious.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare production molds for manufacturing according to established procedures.
- Apply wax manually to molds using waxing cloths.
- Ensure wax is applied evenly to achieve the required surface finish.
- Clean molds thoroughly before applying wax or other treatments.
- Check mold surfaces visually for imperfections, contamination, or areas requiring additional treatment.
- Follow work instructions, production procedures, and quality standards.
- Ensure molds are properly treated and ready for the next stage of production.
- Perform repetitive mold preparation tasks while maintaining consistent quality.
- Report damaged molds, surface defects, or other production concerns to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Properly handle waxing materials, tools, and production equipment.
- Cooperate with production team members to maintain an efficient manufacturing process.
- Follow workplace health and safety requirements and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Perform other production-related duties as assigned by management.
