PROCESS ENGINEER

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s / College Degree in Chemical Engineering or related engineering fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience in wastewater treatment, process engineering, or industrial water systems.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Wastewater treatment processes and plant operations
    • Water quality analysis and laboratory parameters
    • Process optimization and troubleshooting
    • Environmental compliance standards
  • Experience in Sewage Treatment Plants (STP) or water treatment facilities is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and optimize wastewater treatment processes, including:
    • Preliminary treatment
    • Primary treatment
    • Secondary biological treatment
    • Tertiary treatment systems
  • Analyze influent and effluent water quality parameters such as:
    • BOD (Biochemical Oxygen Demand)
    • COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand)
    • TSS (Total Suspended Solids)
    • Nutrients (Nitrogen, Phosphorus)
    • pH and other key indicators
  • Recommend and implement process adjustments to improve treatment efficiency and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to local and international environmental regulations and discharge standards.
  • Support plant startup, commissioning, and operational stabilization activities.
  • Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to optimize plant performance.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and propose corrective and improvement measures.
  • Prepare technical reports, performance analyses, and operational documentation.
