Audio Visual Technician

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience in Audio Visual (A/V) operations, technical support, or event technology services
• Knowledge of audio, video, projection, sound, and lighting equipment
• Familiarity with microphones, mixers, speakers, projectors, LED screens, and conference systems
• Basic understanding of preventive maintenance procedures and equipment troubleshooting
• Knowledge of workplace safety standards and equipment handling procedures
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and special events
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Experience in hotels, convention centers, banquet facilities, or event venues is an advantage

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, test, dismantle, and properly store audio-visual equipment for banquet functions, meetings, and special events
• Ensure all event setups are completed accurately and ready before scheduled functions
• Operate sound, lighting, projection, and presentation systems during events
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during meetings and functions
• Conduct monthly inventory checks and maintain accurate records of A/V equipment
• Monitor outgoing and incoming equipment and ensure proper storage procedures
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections of A/V equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of A/V control rooms and storage areas
• Inspect function rooms daily and report issues related to lighting, air conditioning, and event support services
• Coordinate with banquet, events, and operations teams to ensure successful event execution
