Commis Chef

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred
• Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen procedures.
• Able to work well in a team and support colleagues.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Physically fit and able to handle kitchen duties.
• Flexible and willing to learn.
• Able to follow instructions and company standards.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Willing to attend training and work assigned schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Follow company brand standards.
• Work closely with team members to support hotel operations and guest satisfaction.
• Wash, peel, cut, and prepare fruits and vegetables.
• Clean and prepare meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Bread food items using crumbs, flour, or batter.
• Prepare soups and sauces.
• Measure and weigh ingredients.
• Carry food trays, pans, and kitchen items safely.
• Store food properly.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils; dispose of garbage properly.
• Distribute supplies and kitchen equipment.
• Carve cooked meats.
• Assist with food quality control.
• Help set up buffet displays.
• Maintain good grooming and personal presentation.
• Adapt to changes in hotel and Food & Beverage operations.
• Follow hotel rules and safety, hygiene, and fire procedures.
• Attend required training and meetings.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.
