PRINTING MACHINE OPERATOR

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year of working experience is required.
• Candidates must be at least a High School Graduate.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Previous experience operating printing machines or related production equipment is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of printing processes, machine operation, and production procedures.
• Ability to follow printing specifications, job orders, production instructions, and schedules.
• Good attention to detail, particularly in checking print quality, color, alignment, and registration.
• Ability to identify printing defects and report machine or production problems promptly.
• Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills for printing equipment are an advantage.
• Ability to perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods and handling printing materials.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Responsible, hardworking, reliable, and willing to follow instructions.
• Safety-conscious and committed to maintaining a clean and organized workplace.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor printing machines and related production equipment according to established procedures.
• Set up printing machines and prepare equipment before production runs.
• Load and properly position paper, boards, films, or other printing materials into the machine.
• Prepare and handle inks, printing supplies, and other materials required for production.
• Adjust machine settings to achieve the required print quality, color, alignment, and registration.
• Follow job orders, production specifications, artwork, and printing instructions accurately.
• Monitor printing operations throughout production and make necessary adjustments.
• Check printed materials for color consistency, sharpness, alignment, registration, smudging, defects, and overall quality.
• Identify and report printing errors, machine malfunctions, material problems, or quality issues to the supervisor.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and routine adjustments to maintain smooth machine operation.
• Conduct basic cleaning and routine maintenance of printing machines and work equipment.
• Replace or replenish printing materials as required during production.
• Maintain accurate production records, job quantities, material usage, and quality checks when required.
• Ensure completed printed materials are properly handled, sorted, counted, and prepared for the next production stage.
• Minimize material waste by following proper machine settings, production procedures, and quality-control practices.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the printing and production area.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Handle inks, solvents, cleaning materials, and other printing supplies safely and according to company procedures.
• Coordinate with designers, production staff, supervisors, and other departments to complete printing orders on schedule.
• Meet production deadlines while maintaining required quality standards.
• Perform other printing and production-related duties assigned by management.
