Mandurah and South Western Glass Pty. Ltd is hiring experienced PLC Machine Operators for deployment in Australia. The company is seeking skilled production professionals who can operate and monitor PLC-controlled automated machinery in a manufacturing environment while ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety compliance.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in industrial automation, production systems, and machine operation using PLC and HMI interfaces.

PLC MACHINE OPERATOR

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of working experience as a PLC Machine Operator, Production Operator, or Automated Equipment Operator.
• Candidates must be at least a graduate of a four-year undergraduate course.
• At least 1 year in college or vocational graduate may be waived from IELTS/PTE English test requirements.
• Proven experience operating PLC-controlled manufacturing or production equipment.
• Basic understanding of PLC systems and industrial automation processes.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions, operating procedures, and production schedules.
• Experience using HMI touchscreens and machine control interfaces.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Physically fit and capable of working in manufacturing settings.

Responsibilities:

• Operate PLC-controlled production and manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Start, stop, and monitor automated machinery according to production schedules and operational requirements.
• Set machine parameters and adjust operating settings to maintain production efficiency and quality.
• Monitor production processes using PLC systems, Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), and control panels.
• Ensure machines operate within specified tolerances, standards, and production targets.
• Identify and report machine malfunctions, deviations, or operational issues.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and coordinate with maintenance teams when required.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production guidelines at all times.
• Maintain accurate production records and operational logs.
• Ensure workplace safety standards are strictly followed during machine operation.
• Assist in routine checks and basic maintenance of automated equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of machine workstations and production areas.
