PLANNING ASSISTANT (Electrical)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2–5 years of relevant work experience in project planning, scheduling, or electrical construction support.
• Experience in LNG plants, Oil & Gas plants, power plants, gas processing plants, petrochemical plants, or industrial plant projects is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and construction activities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and project scheduling tools.
• Familiarity with planning software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project is an advantage.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a project environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and updating project schedules for electrical works.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly progress of electrical construction activities.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and site teams to gather progress data.
• Prepare progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and planning updates.
• Assist in tracking manpower, equipment, and material requirements for electrical works.
• Support project planning activities including resource loading and productivity tracking.
• Review drawings, work plans, and schedules to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Identify delays, constraints, and assist in preparing mitigation plans.
• Maintain accurate planning records and documentation.
• Assist in coordinating between planning, engineering, and construction teams.
• Support project management in ensuring timely completion of electrical works.
