ELECTRICAL FOREMAN

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in industrial electrical construction, installation, maintenance, or commissioning projects.
• Experience working in Oil & Gas plants, power plants, gas processing plants, petrochemical plants, and other industrial plant projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, cable installation, cable tray works, conduit installation, panel installation, and equipment connections.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and construction plans.
• Experience supervising electricians and electrical technicians on site.
• Knowledge of electrical safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and permit-to-work systems.
• Good leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily electrical construction and installation activities.
• Assign work tasks and monitor the performance of electricians and electrical technicians.
• Ensure electrical installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Oversee cable laying, cable termination, conduit installation, panel installation, and equipment connections.
• Monitor work progress and ensure project schedules are achieved.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with safety standards.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving electrical installation issues.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other construction teams.
• Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and enforce workplace safety procedures.
• Maintain daily reports and records of work activities.
• Support testing, commissioning, and startup of electrical systems.
