PIPING FOREMAN
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in refinery, petrochemical, gas plant, or oil and gas piping maintenance projects
- Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- Strong knowledge of piping systems, maintenance procedures, and industrial plant operations
- Experience supervising piping installation, maintenance, repair, and modification activities
- Ability to read and interpret:
- Piping Isometric Drawings
- P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams)
- General Arrangement Drawings
- Mechanical and Construction Drawings
- Strong leadership and manpower management skills
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards and permit-to-work systems
- Experience working in shutdowns, turnarounds, and maintenance projects is an advantage
Responsibilities:
- Supervise piping crews and coordinate daily piping maintenance activities
- Ensure maintenance, repair, replacement, and installation works are completed according to project specifications
- Review piping drawings, work packages, and maintenance procedures before execution
- Monitor workforce productivity, work quality, and schedule compliance
- Coordinate with engineers, inspectors, planners, and other disciplines on project requirements
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies
- Conduct field inspections and verify proper completion of piping works
- Assist in planning manpower, materials, tools, and equipment requirements
- Support plant shutdown, turnaround, and commissioning activities
- Prepare daily progress reports and update supervisors on project status
