Grapecare Ltd. is seeking skilled and physically capable Pipefitters / Installers to work in the Czech Republic. The successful candidates will be responsible for assembling prefabricated timber-based building components, installing and maintaining water-supply and heating systems, assembling heating equipment and pipework, installing control and measuring equipment, conducting pressure and leak tests, and completing plasterboard cladding and insulation works according to construction drawings and required standards.

PIPEFITTER / INSTALLER

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of professional experience as a Pipefitter / Installer.
• Physically strong and sturdy build, as the position requires lifting and handling materials weighing up to 25 kg.
• Must be comfortable and capable of working at heights of up to 10 meters.
• Experience in pipefitting, installation, heating systems, water-supply networks, or related construction work.
• Ability to read and follow construction drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of pipe installation, branching, fittings, valves, pumps, radiators, boilers, and related equipment.
• Knowledge of pressure testing and leak detection procedures.
• Ability to install and maintain water-supply and heating distribution systems.
• Experience with plasterboard installation and thermal and acoustic insulation is an advantage.
• Drivers with Category B / passenger car driver’s license are preferred.
• TESDA Certification in Welding or Pipefitting is an advantage.
• Ability to safely use common pipefitting, construction, and installation tools.
• Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual work for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good teamwork, reliability, discipline, and ability to follow supervisor instructions.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and proper use of personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble prefabricated timber-based building components, including walls, partitions, ceilings, and roof structures.
• Follow layout plans, construction drawings, specifications, and installation instructions when assembling building components.
• Install and maintain water-supply, heating, and distribution networks.
• Install pipework, branches, connections, fittings, and related piping components.
• Assemble and install radiators, convectors, boilers, pumps, valves, and safety devices.
• Adjust, service, and maintain heating system components to ensure proper operation.
• Install measuring, control, and regulation equipment for water and heating systems.
• Carry out pressure tests and leak tests according to prescribed procedures and standards.
• Identify and repair leaks, defective connections, damaged pipes, and other installation problems.
• Perform pipe cutting, fitting, joining, alignment, and installation as required.
• Ensure pipework and equipment are correctly positioned, secured, and supported.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, layouts, piping plans, and technical specifications.
• Install plasterboard cladding and associated thermal and acoustic insulation materials.
• Prepare surfaces and complete finishing works on plasterboard installations.
• Install trims and apply silicone sealant to achieve clean and properly finished joints.
• Use hand tools, power tools, pipefitting equipment, and installation tools safely and correctly.
• Conduct inspections of completed installation works to ensure proper alignment, connections, and quality.
• Coordinate with other construction workers and trades to ensure smooth project completion.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas throughout installation activities.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures, particularly when working at heights and handling heavy materials.
• Safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 25 kg.
• Work safely at heights of up to 10 meters using appropriate safety equipment and procedures.
• Report installation issues, material requirements, equipment problems, and other concerns to the supervisor.
• Perform other pipefitting, installation, building assembly, and related construction duties as assigned.
