Pipe/Mechanical Fitter

Qualifications:

  • Must have experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, and offshore industries.
  • Knowledgeable in reading blueprints and isometric drawings.
  • Experienced in flange assembly and valve installation.
  • Must possess a valid NC II Certificate in any of the following:
    • Pipefitting (Metallic)
    • Mechanical Fitter
    • Industrial Maintenance Technician
  • Previous overseas work experience is required.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Must have an updated resume and valid Certificate of Employment (COE).
  • Must have a valid Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform pipe fitting and mechanical installation works in oil and gas, petrochemical, and offshore facilities.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, piping layouts, and isometric drawings.
  • Assemble and install flanges, valves, piping systems, and related mechanical components.
  • Perform alignment, fitting, and installation of piping systems according to project specifications.
  • Conduct inspections and ensure piping works meet quality and safety requirements.
  • Support maintenance, shutdown, and turnaround (TAR) activities as required.
  • Work safely and comply with site safety procedures and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
