Aureol Global Connections is seeking an experienced Panel Beater to join an automotive repair team in Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing damaged vehicle body panels, restoring vehicles to manufacturer specifications, and performing structural and cosmetic repairs using industry-standard tools and techniques. The ideal applicant has extensive experience in collision repair, welding, panel replacement, refinishing, and spray painting while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
PANEL BEATER
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Panel Beater.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques and automotive refinishing processes.
- Proven experience in welding, panel replacement, structural repairs, and spray painting.
- Skilled in using automotive body repair tools, welding equipment, spray guns, and measuring instruments.
- Ability to repair vehicles according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent craftsmanship and quality control skills.
- Good problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
- Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual work in a workshop environment.
- Willing to work in Ireland.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect damaged vehicles and assess the extent of body and structural damage.
- Repair or replace damaged body panels, doors, fenders, bumpers, roofs, and other vehicle components.
- Perform panel beating, straightening, reshaping, and alignment using specialized repair equipment.
- Carry out structural repairs to restore vehicle integrity according to manufacturer specifications.
- Perform welding and fabrication work using appropriate welding techniques and equipment.
- Prepare vehicle surfaces for refinishing by sanding, grinding, filling, masking, and priming.
- Apply spray paint, clear coats, and protective finishes to achieve high-quality results and accurate color matching.
- Install replacement parts and ensure proper fit, alignment, and finish.
- Operate repair equipment, hydraulic tools, frame straightening machines, spray booths, and power tools safely.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure repairs meet industry standards and customer expectations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.
- Follow workplace health and safety regulations and company procedures.
- Keep accurate records of repair work, materials used, and completed jobs.
- Collaborate with estimators, mechanics, painters, and other workshop personnel to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Perform other vehicle body repair duties assigned by management.
