Aureol Global Connections is seeking an experienced Auto Mechanic specializing in Kia Hybrid vehicles to perform vehicle inspection, diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repairs. The successful candidate should have strong automotive mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot both conventional and hybrid vehicle systems.
AUTO MECHANIC (Kia Hybrid)
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic / Auto Technician.
- Experience working specifically with Kia hybrid vehicles is highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of automotive mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of electrical and electronic vehicle systems.
- Familiarity with hybrid vehicle technology and high-voltage systems.
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
- Proficient in using automotive diagnostic equipment and hand tools.
- Knowledge of engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and drivetrain systems.
- Ability to follow technical manuals, manufacturer specifications, and repair procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of an automotive service team.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety, particularly when handling hybrid high-voltage components.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing of Kia hybrid vehicles.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hybrid system faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
- Inspect engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, steering, and other vehicle components.
- Perform repairs and replacement of faulty automotive components.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hybrid vehicle systems and related components.
- Inspect and maintain hybrid batteries, cooling systems, electrical connections, and associated components as required.
- Use automotive diagnostic tools to identify faults and determine appropriate repair procedures.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and road tests following repairs when required.
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure vehicle reliability and safety.
- Follow manufacturer specifications, workshop procedures, and recommended service intervals.
- Maintain accurate service records, repair orders, and inspection reports.
- Maintain tools and workshop equipment in safe and serviceable condition.
- Follow proper safety procedures when working with high-voltage hybrid systems.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with workshop safety standards.
- Report major vehicle defects and additional repair requirements to supervisors or management.
