Aureol Global Connections is seeking qualified and experienced Panel Beaters / Welders for an overseas work opportunity in Ireland. The successful candidates will perform vehicle body repairs, panel beating, reshaping, alignment, replacement, and welding of damaged automotive body components while maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and repair quality.
PANEL BEATER / WELDER
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Panel Beater / Automotive Body Repair Technician.
- Strong hands-on experience in panel beating and vehicle body repair.
- MIG welding experience is required.
- SMAW/Stick welding experience is required.
- Experience repairing, reshaping, straightening, aligning, and replacing damaged vehicle body panels.
- Ability to work with steel and other metal vehicle body components.
- Knowledge of vehicle body structures, panel alignment, and automotive repair techniques.
- Ability to operate welding machines, grinders, cutting tools, and other workshop equipment.
- Good understanding of metal preparation, welding, grinding, and finishing processes.
- Ability to inspect completed work and maintain high repair-quality standards.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Age requirement: 25–45 years old.
- Physically fit and capable of performing demanding automotive workshop duties.
- Ability to work safely in a workshop environment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Relevant automotive training or certification is an advantage.
- Previous overseas work experience is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of an automotive repair team.
- Willing to follow company policies, safety procedures, and supervisor instructions.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect damaged vehicle bodies and identify the extent of panel and structural damage.
- Remove damaged, bent, or deteriorated vehicle body panels as required.
- Repair, reshape, straighten, align, and replace damaged steel and metal vehicle body components.
- Perform panel beating and body repair work to restore vehicles to proper shape and alignment.
- Use appropriate hand tools and workshop equipment for vehicle body repairs.
- Measure and check panels and body components to ensure correct fit, alignment, and dimensions.
- Perform MIG welding on automotive body panels and metal components.
- Perform SMAW/Stick welding when required.
- Prepare metal surfaces and joints before welding.
- Use welding machines, grinders, cutting tools, and other automotive workshop equipment safely.
- Grind, smooth, and finish welded areas to achieve proper appearance and fit.
- Repair or fabricate metal components when necessary.
- Ensure repaired panels are properly aligned with doors, hoods, fenders, bumpers, frames, and other vehicle components.
- Follow appropriate vehicle body repair procedures and manufacturer specifications where applicable.
- Conduct quality checks on completed panel and welding work.
- Identify and correct alignment problems, welding defects, surface imperfections, and other repair issues.
- Maintain proper care and safe operation of welding equipment, power tools, grinders, and workshop machinery.
- Keep tools, equipment, workstations, and the workshop clean and organized.
- Follow welding safety procedures, workshop safety requirements, and proper PPE use.
- Handle metal materials, welding equipment, and cutting tools safely.
- Report major structural damage, additional repair requirements, and equipment problems to the supervisor.
- Coordinate with mechanics, automotive technicians, painters, and other workshop personnel to complete vehicle repairs efficiently.
- Perform other panel beating, welding, fabrication, and automotive body repair duties assigned by management.
