Australian Skilled Migration is seeking an experienced Bus / Auto Electrician to work in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, installing, wiring, repairing, and maintaining automotive electrical systems and 12V accessories in buses, vehicles, 4×4 touring vehicles, and camping setups. The position requires strong hands-on experience with auxiliary electrical systems, battery systems, power inverters, winches, fridges, and related vehicle accessories.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Auto Electrician is required.
- Must have completed at least 1 year in college or a 1-year vocational course.
- Proven hands-on experience installing and wiring 12V automotive electrical accessories and systems.
- Strong experience with 12V to 220V power inverters.
- Experience installing dual 12V battery systems.
- Experience installing and wiring Anderson plugs.
- Experience installing and wiring electric winches.
- Experience installing rear-mounted fridges and auxiliary power systems.
- Experience with complete 4×4 touring/camping electrical setups.
- Must be able to diagnose and troubleshoot automotive electrical systems effectively.
- Strong knowledge of automotive wiring, batteries, charging systems, fuses, relays, connectors, cables, and electrical protection.
- Ability to read and interpret automotive electrical wiring diagrams and installation instructions.
- Skilled in using multimeters, electrical testing equipment, and automotive diagnostic tools.
- Ability to perform accurate cable routing, termination, crimping, connection, testing, and electrical fault-finding.
- Strong understanding of safe electrical installation practices in vehicles.
- Physically capable of performing hands-on automotive electrical installation and repair work.
- Must be able to provide work photos and videos showing actual installations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe, neat, and reliable electrical workmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, inspect, install, wire, repair, and maintain automotive electrical systems.
- Install and wire complete 12V electrical accessory systems in vehicles according to technical requirements.
- Install 12V to 220V power inverters and ensure proper wiring, connections, protection, and operation.
- Install and configure dual 12V battery systems, including appropriate cabling, connections, isolation, and charging arrangements.
- Install and wire Anderson plugs and other auxiliary power connections.
- Install, wire, and troubleshoot electric winches and their associated electrical components.
- Install and connect rear-mounted fridges and their dedicated power supply systems.
- Install complete 4×4 touring and camping electrical setups.
- Route, secure, terminate, and protect electrical cables and wiring to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Select and use appropriate automotive electrical components, connectors, fuses, relays, cables, switches, and protection devices.
- Diagnose electrical faults using multimeters, test equipment, wiring diagrams, and appropriate diagnostic procedures.
- Troubleshoot problems involving batteries, charging systems, power supplies, wiring, connections, accessories, and electrical components.
- Test electrical installations after completion to verify correct operation and system reliability.
- Inspect existing vehicle electrical systems before installing additional accessories.
- Identify damaged, defective, loose, or improperly installed electrical components and carry out the necessary repairs.
- Ensure electrical installations are securely mounted and protected against vibration, moisture, heat, abrasion, and other vehicle operating conditions.
- Follow wiring diagrams, installation instructions, technical specifications, and manufacturer requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of electrical work, installations, repairs, components, and testing where required.
- Keep tools, electrical equipment, work areas, and vehicles clean and organized.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and safe electrical work practices.
- Coordinate with supervisors, mechanics, technicians, and other workshop personnel to complete vehicle electrical work efficiently.
- Provide work photos and videos showing actual electrical installations as required for skills assessment or employment verification.
- Perform other automotive electrical installation, repair, and maintenance duties assigned by the employer.
