Australian Skilled Migration is seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Gardener to work in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for landscape and turf maintenance, operating agricultural and specialized turf machinery, and carrying out turf renovation and maintenance activities. The position is particularly suited to candidates with experience in turf management and golf course maintenance, as well as practical knowledge of tractors, PTO equipment, and specialized turf machinery.

Qualifications:
- Must have experience operating agricultural and turf machinery.
- Must have experience operating tractors and specialist turf renovation machinery.
- Strong knowledge of aeration, top dressing/recycling top dressing, sand insertion, verticutting, overseeding, and fertilizer application.
- Turf management experience is highly regarded.
- Golf course maintenance experience is highly regarded.
- Must hold a valid Driver’s License.
- Must have experience operating tractors and PTO equipment.
- Experience with GPS/RTK systems is an advantage.
- Must have completed at least 1 year in college or a 1-year vocational course.
- Good understanding of turf care, grounds maintenance, machinery operation, and landscape maintenance practices.
- Ability to safely operate heavy agricultural and specialized turf equipment.
- Basic knowledge of machinery inspection, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Physically fit and capable of performing outdoor and hands-on landscaping and turf maintenance work.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality turf and landscape areas.
- Ability to follow technical instructions, safety procedures, and equipment operating requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general landscape, turf, and grounds maintenance activities according to established standards.
- Operate agricultural machinery, turf equipment, tractors, and specialized turf renovation machinery safely and efficiently.
- Operate tractors equipped with PTO (Power Take-Off) equipment for turf and grounds maintenance activities.
- Carry out turf renovation and maintenance operations, including aeration, top dressing, sand insertion, verticutting, overseeding, and fertilizer application.
- Perform aeration to improve soil structure, drainage, and turf root development.
- Carry out top dressing and recycling top dressing operations to improve turf quality and surface conditions.
- Perform sand insertion and other soil or turf improvement activities as required.
- Operate specialist machinery for verticutting and removal of excess thatch or unwanted turf growth.
- Perform overseeding activities to establish and maintain healthy, dense, and uniform turf.
- Apply fertilizers and other approved turf-care materials according to required application rates and procedures.
- Monitor turf and landscape conditions and report issues such as poor growth, disease, drainage problems, or damaged areas.
- Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of tractors, turf machinery, attachments, and other equipment.
- Perform basic cleaning, servicing, and adjustments of machinery to maintain safe and efficient operation.
- Use machinery and equipment in accordance with manufacturer instructions and workplace safety procedures.
- Assist with general landscaping activities, including mowing, trimming, edging, planting, soil preparation, and grounds maintenance when required.
- Operate GPS/RTK-enabled machinery and equipment when applicable.
- Maintain accurate records of machinery use, turf maintenance activities, fertilizer application, and other assigned work.
- Maintain work areas, machinery, tools, and equipment in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
- Follow workplace health and safety, environmental, chemical handling, and equipment operating procedures.
- Report machinery faults, damaged equipment, safety hazards, and maintenance requirements to supervisors.
- Work effectively as part of a landscaping, turf management, grounds maintenance, or golf course maintenance team.
