Australian Skilled Migration is seeking an experienced Carpenter to construct, install, and repair wooden structures and fixtures in residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on carpentry skills, the ability to interpret blueprints, and experience working with hand and power tools in a safe and professional manner.
CARPENTER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Carpenter.
- At least 1 year of college education or completion of a 1-year vocational course.
- Proven ability to work with wood and other materials using hand and power tools.
- Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Strong attention to detail, precision, and craftsmanship.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and building regulations.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Construct, install, and repair wooden structures, furniture, and fixtures according to project specifications.
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials using hand tools and power tools.
- Install doors, windows, cabinets, drywall, flooring, and roofing components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and building plans to meet project requirements.
- Perform maintenance, finishing, and repair work on residential and commercial projects.
- Ensure work quality, accuracy, and compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Collaborate with contractors, architects, and team members to complete projects on schedule.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe working environment at all times.
