Panel Beater

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of working experience is required.
• Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Experience in vehicle body repair, panel beating, and automotive restoration.
• Knowledge of metalworking tools, welding equipment, and body repair techniques.
• Ability to assess vehicle damage and perform appropriate repairs.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Repair damaged vehicle body panels and restore them to their original condition.
• Use various metalworking techniques to remove dents, reshape panels, and repair body damage.
• Repair or replace rusted sections of vehicle bodywork.
• Weld, align, and fix panels together as required.
• Assess vehicle damage and determine appropriate repair procedures.
• Use body repair tools, welding equipment, grinders, and other workshop machinery safely and effectively.
• Prepare repaired surfaces for painting and finishing processes.
• Inspect completed repairs to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and company quality standards at all times.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other workshop personnel to ensure timely completion of repair work.
