Al-Iman Gasket Factory is seeking an experienced Painter for an overseas work opportunity in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for surface preparation, paint application, finishing, and general painting work while maintaining quality and safety standards.

PAINTER

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of field working experience as a Painter or in a related painting position.
• Maximum age: 45 years old.
• Proven practical experience in professional painting and finishing work.
• Knowledge of surface preparation and paint application techniques.
• Ability to use common painting tools and equipment.
• Experience with brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and other painting tools is an advantage.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual painting duties.
• Ability to work in different field and industrial environments.
• Ability to follow instructions, work specifications, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Responsible, hardworking, reliable, and safety-conscious.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and removing old or damaged coatings.
• Inspect surfaces for cracks, holes, rust, uneven areas, and other defects before painting.
• Perform necessary surface preparation to ensure proper paint adhesion and a smooth finish.
• Apply primer, paint, protective coatings, and finishing materials as required.
• Use brushes, rollers, spray guns, and other painting tools and equipment.
• Mix paint, thinner, primer, and other coating materials according to required specifications.
• Apply multiple coats of paint to achieve the required coverage, color, texture, and finish.
• Perform touch-up and repainting work when necessary.
• Inspect completed work to ensure surfaces are smooth, uniform, clean, and free from defects.
• Protect equipment, machinery, fixtures, floors, and surrounding areas from paint spills and overspray.
• Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment after use.
• Safely store paint, solvents, coatings, and other painting materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working area.
• Follow proper workplace health and safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Report damaged surfaces, equipment issues, material shortages, and other work concerns to the supervisor.
• Complete assigned painting work according to required schedules and quality standards.
• Perform other painting and finishing duties assigned by management.
