Lee Fabricating Pty Ltd. is hiring Metal Fabricators for deployment to Australia. The role focuses on the fabrication of stainless-steel commercial kitchen and food processing equipment, requiring strong fabrication, TIG welding, polishing, and blueprint-reading skills.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience as a Metal Fabricator.
• Must be at least a graduate of a four-year undergraduate course.
• Must have both local and overseas work experience.
• Experience in fabricating metal products, particularly for commercial kitchens, food service, or process equipment industries.
• Demonstrated expertise in TIG welding, especially on stainless steel materials.
• Strong fabrication skills beyond welding and polishing.
• Good polishing and stainless-steel finishing skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and fabrication specifications.
• Experience in cutting, grinding, fitting, assembling, and finishing metal components.
• Knowledge of fabrication tools, machinery, and workshop safety practices.
• Good English communication skills are essential.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate stainless-steel kitchen and food processing equipment according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel components while maintaining high-quality weld standards.
• Prepare materials for fabrication and welding, including cutting, grinding, cleaning, and fitting.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and fabrication plans.
• Assemble and install fabricated components accurately and efficiently.
• Perform polishing and metal finishing to achieve required product quality.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding and fabrication equipment safely.
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and Australian industry standards.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and deadlines.
