Metal Fabricator

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Metal Fabricator or similar trade professional
• Good English communication skills
• Skilled in sheet metal fabrication, forming, bending, and assembly
• Experience operating fabrication machinery such as:
  • Guillotines
  • Folders
  • Rollers
  • Presses and other metalworking equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and fabrication plans
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to precise measurements and specifications
• Experience in abrasive blasting and industrial spray painting is an advantage
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and quality standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fabrication team

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal and fabricated metal products
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication specifications
• Measure, mark, cut, bend, and shape metal materials accurately
• Operate guillotines, folders, rollers, and other fabrication machinery safely
• Assemble fabricated components according to project requirements
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
• Perform finishing work and prepare products for painting or installation
• Assist with abrasive blasting and industrial spray painting activities when required
• Maintain tools, machinery, and workshop equipment in good condition
• Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times
