Mechanical Operator

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician or Mechanical Operator, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, equipment repair, and mechanical diagnostics.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with manufacturing equipment, production machinery, and maintenance best practices.
• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Committed to maintaining high standards of quality, productivity, and workplace safety.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery and mechanical equipment to ensure efficient production.
• Perform routine inspections to identify mechanical issues and ensure equipment is operating within specified parameters.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on production machines and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment to minimize production downtime.
• Assist in machine installation, commissioning, and equipment upgrades when required.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and productivity.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, technical manuals, and maintenance procedures.
• Ensure proper lubrication, calibration, and adjustment of machinery according to manufacturer specifications.
• Record maintenance activities, equipment inspections, repairs, and operational data accurately.
• Coordinate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve equipment-related issues.
• Follow company Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and comply with workplace safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and perform other duties assigned by management.
