MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience is required.
• Must be a Bachelor’s/College Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment, production machinery, preventive maintenance, and predictive maintenance.
• Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures and equipment breakdowns.
• Experience in coordinating machinery repair, maintenance, and overhaul activities.
• Knowledge of spare parts management and maintenance inventory control.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work effectively under pressure and respond to equipment breakdowns and maintenance requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for mechanical equipment and production machinery.
• Monitor the condition and performance of mechanical equipment to maximize uptime and operational efficiency.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical failures and equipment breakdowns.
• Conduct regular inspections and condition assessments of production machinery.
• Coordinate the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of production equipment and mechanical systems.
• Develop maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance activities.
• Analyze recurring equipment failures and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure availability of critical spare parts and maintain proper inventory control.
• Coordinate with maintenance personnel, suppliers, and contractors for equipment repairs and technical requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment inspections, maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts usage.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with company standards, safety procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Recommend equipment improvements and maintenance strategies to improve reliability, productivity, and reduce downtime.
• Perform other engineering and maintenance-related duties as assigned.
