Material Handler

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Worker, Storekeeper, Warehouse Assistant, or Logistics Assistant is an advantage.
• Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or production environment is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of material handling, storage, inventory, and warehouse procedures.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and moving materials safely.
• Ability to follow instructions and workplace safety procedures.
• Good attention to detail when checking materials, quantities, and labels.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a warehouse or production team.
• Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious.
• Willing to work in the United Arab Emirates.
• Experience operating forklifts or other material-handling equipment is an advantage, where applicable and properly certified.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, unload, inspect, and properly handle incoming raw materials, supplies, and finished products.
• Move materials safely between receiving areas, warehouses, production areas, and designated storage locations.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and delivery vehicles.
• Prepare materials and products for production, transfer, or dispatch according to instructions.
• Check quantities, labels, item codes, and supporting documents when receiving or issuing materials.
• Arrange and organize materials in designated storage areas.
• Follow proper FIFO/FEFO procedures where applicable.
• Assist with picking, packing, sorting, and staging materials for delivery or production.
• Maintain accurate records of materials received, issued, transferred, or dispatched.
• Report damaged, missing, incorrect, or defective materials to the warehouse supervisor.
• Assist with physical inventory counts and stock checking.
• Operate material-handling equipment safely when authorized and properly trained.
• Follow proper lifting, handling, stacking, and storage procedures.
• Keep work areas, storage locations, and material-handling equipment clean and organized.
• Follow company warehouse, production, health, and safety procedures.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
• Assist warehouse and production teams with daily material requirements.
• Perform other related warehouse and material-handling duties assigned by the supervisor.
