Grapecare Limited is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician (Mold Setter – Injection Molds) to set, maintain, service, and repair injection molding machines, molds, and related production equipment.

The successful candidate should have strong hands-on experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot production equipment and support continuous improvement initiatives.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (MOLD SETTER-INJECTION MOLDS)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
• At least High School Graduate.
• Hands-on experience setting and maintaining injection molding machines and molds.
• Strong knowledge of Mechanical systems, Hydraulic systems, Pneumatic systems, Injection molding equipment, Mold maintenance and repair
• Experience servicing and repairing injection molds and related equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to independently resolve complex production and equipment issues.
• Good understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
• Good knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
• Willingness and ability to train or mentor less experienced colleagues.
• Forklift (VZV) license is an advantage.
• Welding certificate is an advantage.
• Lifting-Equipment license is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and adjust injection molding machines and molds according to production requirements.
• Install, remove, and change injection molds safely and efficiently.
• Perform preventive maintenance, servicing, and repairs on injection molding machines and molds.
• Inspect injection molds and related equipment for wear, damage, or operating issues.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose and repair machine and mold-related faults.
• Service and maintain production lines and associated equipment.
• Monitor machine performance and respond promptly to equipment problems.
• Independently resolve complex production and equipment issues when required.
• Minimize equipment downtime through effective maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to the optimization and improvement of production processes.
• Ensure injection molding equipment operates efficiently and meets production requirements.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and established technical procedures.
• Maintain proper records of maintenance, repairs, inspections, and equipment issues.
• Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Mentor and guide less experienced maintenance and production colleagues.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
