HireAnchor is seeking skilled Marine Outfitting / Joiner – Wall & Ceiling Panel Installers for work in Lithuania. The role involves installing wall and ceiling panels as part of marine interior outfitting projects, ensuring accurate fitting, quality workmanship, and compliance with project specifications.
Candidates with strong joinery, carpentry, or marine outfitting skills are encouraged to apply. 5+ years of experience is preferred, although candidates with strong relevant skills may also be considered.
MARINE OUTFITTING / JOINER (WALL & CEILING PANEL INSTALLER)
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience preferred.
- Candidates with strong practical skills may also be considered.
- Experience in marine outfitting, shipbuilding, joinery, carpentry, wall panel installation, or ceiling panel installation is an advantage.
- NC II certificate is an advantage.
- Basic to good English communication skills.
- B1 English level is preferred.
- Ability to read and follow measurements, work instructions, and technical drawings.
- Good hand skills and attention to detail.
- Physically fit and capable of performing installation work in a shipbuilding or industrial environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Safety-conscious, reliable, and hardworking.
Responsibilities:
- Install wall and ceiling panels in ships and marine structures.
- Measure, cut, fit, and secure panels according to technical drawings and project specifications.
- Perform joinery and interior finishing work with a high level of accuracy.
- Prepare surfaces and work areas before panel installation.
- Ensure panels are properly aligned, fitted, and securely installed.
- Perform trimming, adjustment, and finishing work as required.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Inspect completed work to ensure proper fit, appearance, and quality.
- Identify and correct installation defects or fitting issues.
- Work closely with other marine outfitting, joinery, and construction teams.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
- Complete other related duties assigned by supervisors.
